The organizers also welcome strollers, scooters, and well-socialized leashed dogs, with the first 100 canine participants receiving commemorative race bandanas.

Executive Director Tim Woodward noted that the run provides essential funding for the organization's work, which often involves partnering with local law enforcement to remove animals from cruel conditions.
