Founded in 2018 by Dave Ramsay and Matt Felser, the company has transitioned from a small-scale operation to a recognized player in the RV industry. The current lineup, which ranges from the 18-foot LV3 to the 21-foot LV7, adheres to RVIA standards and emphasizes direct-to-consumer sales. For the 2027 model year, the company is standardizing its electrical systems with 600 amp-hours of lithium power and 400 watts of solar, while introducing a full-length roof rack in response to owner feedback.

The company’s operational model focuses heavily on post-delivery support, including three-year craftsmanship warranties and lifetime phone assistance. Each purchase begins with a factory walkthrough during "New Van Day," a process intended to familiarize owners with the vehicle's systems. This strategy has fostered a community-driven culture, with owners organizing independent meetups and participating in company-hosted events. With 2027 reservations now open starting at $99,800, DM Vans continues to scale its production while maintaining a niche focus on owners in every state except Connecticut and Wyoming.
