Reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Kathy Bolhous, Manke will join the Executive Leadership Team to integrate technology deeper into the company’s core business model. Bolhous cited Manke’s background in transformation as critical for scaling the firm’s infrastructure and extracting actionable insights from its data assets.

Manke brings over three decades of experience to the role, most recently serving as CIO at PremiStar. During his tenure there, he spearheaded initiatives focused on artificial intelligence and unified enterprise platforms. His resume also includes a senior leadership role at Stericycle, where he directed large-scale resource planning transformations. Throughout his career, he has consulted for major industrial players including Duracell, Baxter, and W.W. Grainger.

At Charter Next Generation, Manke aims to shift the company’s technological focus toward immediate value creation. He plans to refine the existing foundation to provide staff with precise, real-time information for faster decision-making. His appointment underscores a strategic pivot for the 2,700-employee firm, which operates 18 facilities across the United States, as it seeks to leverage digital capabilities to maintain its competitive edge in the sustainable packaging market.
