This transition allows the firm to scale its proprietary FRM process, which utilizes LOD 400 models to bridge the gap between structural engineering and fabrication.

ESS co-founders Arif Qureshi, Akbar Khan, and Aasim Hodekar will transition into leadership roles as DeSimone Principals, overseeing the firm’s expanded footprint in India. According to Qureshi, the merger is a natural progression of a long-standing partnership, enabling both teams to operate as a single, unified entity. For DeSimone, the move provides a robust platform to deploy its multidisciplinary expertise, including façade consulting and forensic advisory services, to meet the rising demand for sophisticated infrastructure solutions across the region.
