The new facility, located at 9313 Medical Plaza Dr. in Charleston, will operate as a department of Trident Hospital. Patients will gain access to advanced diagnostic tools, including 3D mammography integrated with AI software and the company’s signature SmartCurve technology, which utilizes curved paddles to improve comfort during screening. Beyond standard mammograms, the center provides breast ultrasounds, bone density screenings, and biopsy services.

Lisa Ashby, CEO of Solis Mammography, described the move as a strategic entry into the company’s 26th major market, aiming to bring a retail-oriented, patient-first approach to the Lowcountry. Hugh Tappan, President of HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division, noted that the partnership seeks to combine the provider’s technical resources with specialized expertise to enhance local breast health outcomes. The clinic is currently accepting both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients as the hospital system begins its regional rollout.
