The complaint filed against Better Home & Finance claims that executives issued materially misleading statements during the spring of 2026. According to the filing, the company allegedly failed to disclose that its conversion funnel was decelerating due to external macroeconomic pressures. Furthermore, the suit asserts that the firm’s $1 billion monthly funded volume target was likely to be deferred, a reality that undermined the positive outlook presented to stakeholders at the time.
Law firm Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP is currently organizing the class action. Investors wishing to act as lead plaintiff must file their motions by November 20, 2026. While the firm encourages affected parties to reach out via their Los Angeles office or digital contact channels, shareholders retain the right to select their own legal counsel or remain absent class members until a formal certification occurs.
