The proposed all-stock transaction, approved by special committees at both companies, will see AIxCrypto discontinue its existing crypto-focused strategy to become a pure-play robotics entity. Faraday Future, which will remain the controlling stockholder, intends to use the new platform to provide investors with a clearer view of its robotics fundamentals. The deal is expected to close with the company trading under the ticker FFR starting September 30, 2026.
Simultaneously, the company is accelerating its "Built in USA" program, aiming to begin domestic robot production by the end of this year. The first units from this U.S.-based line are scheduled for rollout in the first quarter of 2027. To support this growth, Faraday Future has launched an industry alliance to coordinate supply chain, manufacturing, and research efforts with global partners. The robotics unit reported cumulative shipments of 552 units as of August, with a gross margin of roughly 30.9% during the second quarter of 2026.
