The converted vessel will feature a storage capacity of approximately 143,000 cubic meters and a regasification flow rate of 650 million standard cubic feet per day. Equipped with Moss-type cargo tanks, the unit is engineered for an economic life of two decades. This addition aims to meet rising global demand for rapidly deployable energy infrastructure, according to Mehmet Katmer, general manager of Kinetics.

Zeynep Harezi Yılmaz, chief commercial officer of Karpowership, described the acquisition as a strategic move to support clients seeking to diversify their energy mix and strengthen supply security. Kinetics, an initiative of Karpowership, focuses on delivering floating LNG and renewable energy solutions to industrial customers and governments globally. The project aligns with the broader group strategy to maintain a versatile fleet capable of supporting energy transitions across various international markets.
