The G3 marks a 39% increase in battery efficiency compared to its predecessor, the G2mk3. Panasonic has introduced a modular battery system, allowing users to choose between 8.5, 17, and 24-hour capacities. A 99Wh option serves as the flagship, supported by hot-swappable functionality that utilizes a bridge battery to maintain system uptime during power swaps.
Designed for 10.1-inch portability, the tablet features Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G connectivity for remote operations. Performance is driven by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor and dual-channel RAM, enabling Copilot+ capabilities that allow teams to analyze mission-critical data locally. The hardware is built to withstand extreme conditions, meeting MIL-STD 810H vibration standards and surviving drops of up to 180cm, while operating in temperatures ranging from -29°C to 63°C. Security is managed through a Windows 11 Secured-core architecture, complemented by the TOUGHBOOK Guard firmware, which validates hardware components before the operating system initializes.
