CEO John Brase noted the company is successfully executing its core strategy, which focuses on simplifying operations, rebalancing capital allocation, and restoring margins. While organic net sales dipped 1.1%—driven by a 2.1% volume decrease partially offset by pricing actions—the company gained dollar market share in key categories, including frozen vegetables, pudding, and hot dogs.

Profitability metrics underscored these efforts, with adjusted operating margin reaching 11.5%. The performance was bolstered by a 71.8% surge in equity method investment earnings, largely attributed to favorable conditions at the Ardent Mills joint venture. Looking ahead, Conagra continues to project adjusted EPS between $1.40 and $1.50 for fiscal 2027, banking on its ongoing investments and productivity initiatives to offset cost inflation and market volatility.
