Proline Medical, a firm specializing in infection prevention and sterilization, will integrate ChemDAQ’s sensor systems into its national supply network. The technology provides real-time data on hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid levels, offering staff objective metrics to manage their work environment. This shift is critical as the new regulatory standards cut the eight-hour time-weighted average limit for hydrogen peroxide to 0.5 ppm and establish a 0.4 ppm peak limit for peracetic acid.

Alex Hilliker, Executive Vice President of ChemDAQ, noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to applying the same rigor to staff safety as is currently dedicated to patient care. Julianne Schipelliti, Director at Proline Medical, emphasized that the initiative combines proven monitoring hardware with local technical expertise to raise awareness of occupational risks. The companies are debuting this collaboration at the FSRACA National Conference, held from September 30 to October 2 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
