The research, which polled 2,000 women through OnePoll, suggests that the discomfort is deeply rooted in language. Over half of respondents—57%—admit to using nicknames or coded terminology rather than anatomical terms like "vagina" or "vulva" to avoid social awkwardness. Even younger generations are not immune: 61% of Gen Z participants reported avoiding these conversations, a higher rate than the 46% reported by Boomers.

To bridge this gap, the brand launched its "Let’s Talk About It" initiative, which leverages humor as a gateway to more candid discussions. While 56% of women agree that humor eases the tension, the data indicates that once the conversation starts, women prioritize personal experiences and expert-backed information over levity. In an unconventional effort to normalize these dialogues, the brand recently partnered with the Beaver Institute at BeaverCON, using the opportunity to demonstrate that even the most unexpected settings can host necessary, straightforward health discussions.
