Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding, the agencies will cross-promote their offerings to reach a broader audience of service members. The Texas Veterans Commission plans to highlight the Vet Tix platform—which provides complimentary tickets to concerts, sporting events, and performing arts—through its existing social media channels, newsletters, and regional outreach events. In return, Vet Tix will feature the Commission as a strategic partner to its Texas membership base.

Thomas P. Palladino, Executive Director of the Texas Veterans Commission, described the initiative as a practical method to extend the reach of support services. Vet Tix founder Michael A. Focareto noted that the partnership provides a direct link to the community they serve. Since its inception in 2008, Vet Tix has distributed over 40 million tickets nationwide to promote community reintegration and wellness. Veterans and their families can register for these programs through the official organization websites.
