The company specializes in nanocrystalline, amorphous, and silicon steel technologies, offering custom manufacturing that spans from raw ribbon processing to finished components. Central to its competitive edge is the production of 12–14 μm nanocrystalline ribbon, a thin-profile material designed to minimize eddy-current losses at high switching frequencies. This capability allows engineers to develop smaller, lighter, and more efficient transformers and inductors essential for high-density computing architectures.

Transmart currently operates two production facilities in China, maintaining certifications including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. While the company has historically focused on the European market, it is pivoting toward North America as the U.S. Energy Information Administration projects the strongest four-year growth streak in domestic electricity demand since 2000. Director Richard Long noted that as power systems shift toward higher frequencies and greater density, the performance of core material becomes a defining factor in system design. Beyond current applications, the firm is monitoring solid-state transformer development, positioning its ultra-thin ribbon capabilities as a potential foundation for next-generation power delivery.
