The rebranding marks a decade-long evolution for the company. While founded on the promise of battery innovation, leadership now emphasizes the transition toward manufacturing execution. CEO Adrian Yao noted that the company serves as a strategic integrator for Western-owned intellectual property, aiming to fill a gap in the domestic market for non-commodity power cells.
Operating out of a 92,000-square-foot facility in the Midwest, CAMINUS maintains full vertical integration. Its production line spans from initial slurry mixing to final cell formation. By aligning its supply chain with NDAA Section 842 requirements, the firm positions itself as a specialized manufacturer for high-stakes sectors. The company will continue to offer contract manufacturing services, including toll-coated electrodes and custom pouch cells, alongside its proprietary battery product lines.
