Chairman and CEO Dave Chan described the move as a strategic expansion, noting that the deal provides a fresh revenue catalyst for the Nasdaq-listed company. By absorbing KM's business, SU Group gains exclusive rights to market and distribute intelligent emergency lighting control products across Hong Kong, building upon a distribution agreement that began earlier this summer.
This acquisition strengthens the company’s ability to offer comprehensive safety and security packages for private and public sector clients. For over two decades, SU Group has specialized in the installation and maintenance of threat detection and traffic control systems. Integrating KM allows the firm to bundle these established engineering services with new lighting control capabilities, aiming to capture greater market share in local infrastructure development.
