The expansion effort follows a strategic pivot for the 530-unit brand, which recently debuted a modernized restaurant design in San Antonio, Texas. This new aesthetic, intended to balance contemporary guest environments with the company's five-decade identity, is slated for rollout in Florida, Ohio, and Oklahoma. Executives believe this design shift acts as a catalyst for attracting experienced international operators.
Interest remains high in Southern Europe, with active conversations currently underway for potential sites in Madrid and Valencia. While the brand is prioritizing these regions, Poland and France also remain on the company's radar. Brad Reed, Chief Development Officer, emphasized that the current growth strategy focuses on scaling the brand’s footprint through multi-unit and master franchise agreements rather than individual store openings. The company is actively vetting seasoned restaurant operators capable of managing the brand's international entry.
