Atar will oversee the integration of machine learning and advanced risk signals into the company’s existing platform. His mandate involves aligning engineering and design teams to build solutions that address the rapidly evolving tactics of digital fraudsters. CEO Yair Tal noted that the shift is essential as market demands move away from static identity verification toward continuous, lifecycle-based trust decisions.
During his previous role at PayPal as Head of Strategy for Global Fraud Prevention, Atar managed product roadmaps and advised executive leadership on large-scale AI adoption. He now joins an organization that has authenticated billions of identities and claims to have prevented over $33 billion in fraud since its founding in 2002. Atar intends to leverage this foundation to scale the company's next generation of intelligent risk capabilities.
