The expansion introduces 29 new ports of call, emphasizing a deeper integration of local culture through the brand’s S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) culinary program. The 2028-2029 slate features a significant deployment in the Mediterranean, where Silver Nova and Silver Dawn will host 17 sailings. These routes include overnight stays in Venice for Carnival and Funchal for New Year’s Eve fireworks. Culinary enthusiasts can look forward to dedicated Wine & Truffle voyages through Italy and Spain, as well as market-focused excursions across Southeast Asia.
A central highlight is the 75-night Grand South America 2029 circumnavigation aboard Silver Nova. Departing Fort Lauderdale on January 13, 2029, the ship will navigate the Panama Canal and the Antarctic Peninsula before offering guests exclusive access to Rio’s Carnival from a private space at the Sambadrome. Meanwhile, in the Caribbean, four ships—Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit, and Silver Shadow—will anchor the winter season, highlighted by a new destination experience on the private island of Canouan.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Silversea is adding eight new ports, including Kyoto’s Maizuru and South Korea’s Yeosu. Silver Moon will anchor the season with a New Year’s Eve call in Sydney, while the line continues to leverage its growing fleet to offer more combinable itineraries between Australia and Indonesia. According to company president Bert Hernandez, the collection is designed to provide industry-leading depth, ensuring guests experience each region during its most authentic seasonal peaks.
