Oaktree Capital exits TORM plc with final share sale

Oaktree Capital Management has concluded its divestment from TORM plc, finalizing the sale of over 6.3 million Class A common shares. The secondary public offering, executed through the investment vehicle OCM Njord Holdings S.à r.l., marks the total exit of the firm from its stake in the Danish tanker company.

The transaction involved 6,329,874 shares, representing the entirety of the interest held by the Oaktree-affiliated entity. Following the closing of this offering, OCM Njord Holdings S.à r.l. no longer maintains any beneficial ownership in the Hellerup-based shipping firm.

Because this was a secondary offering conducted by a selling shareholder, TORM plc did not issue new shares nor receive any proceeds from the transaction. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC served as the sole underwriter for the deal, which was completed under an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
