Stearley first joined Ameritas in 1992, gaining early experience in group administration before a brief departure to Guardian Life Insurance in 1999. Since returning to the company in 2001, she has steadily ascended through various management positions. Her professional credentials include a degree from Bellevue University and a fellowship from the Life Management Institute, complemented by specialized executive training from the Wharton School.

Kelly Wieseler, executive vice president of group, praised the move, citing Stearley’s proven ability to unify teams and drive organizational evolution. In her new capacity, Stearley is tasked with overseeing group operations and refining the experience for the company’s business partners and policyholders.
