The company’s third-quarter production reached 3.61 million silver-equivalent ounces, bringing the nine-month total to 10.39 million ounces—a 40% increase over the same period last year. However, operational hurdles have complicated the final stretch of 2024. The Guanacevi mill was taken offline in September for essential maintenance, with a return to full capacity anticipated by mid-October.
Chief Executive Dan Dickson noted that the company remains resilient despite these setbacks. He highlighted that the Terronera plant has reached optimal processing performance, while the expansion at the Kolpa mine has consistently outperformed internal projections. Earlier this year, Endeavour Silver set an annual production target of 14.6 million to 15.6 million silver-equivalent ounces across its assets in Mexico and Peru, a goal that now faces significant downward pressure.
