Rather than isolating the content in a separate menu, WePlay is weaving the anime's aesthetic into its core multiplayer games, voice rooms, and avatar systems. This integration aims to turn the collaboration into a recurring social topic, encouraging users to discover updates during their daily gaming sessions and community interactions.
A spokesperson for the Singapore-based operator, WEJOY PTE. LTD., noted that the campaign is designed to mirror how American users blend gaming and animation interests. By introducing these assets into established titles like Space Werewolf and Who is Spy, the company seeks to foster shared social moments rather than passive content consumption.
This project follows a string of international IP partnerships for the platform, including collaborations with Care Bears and Bugcat Capoo. The move aligns with WePlay's broader strategy of adapting localized content to regional cultural habits, a tactic that previously included high-profile campaigns in Thailand and the Middle East. For the duration of October, players will have access to specific in-app event pages to track the arrival of new themed elements.
