JNS Holdings Trims Half-Year Losses as Revenue Climbs

JNS Holdings narrowed its net loss to 55 million yen for the six months ending August 31, a significant improvement from the 206 million yen deficit recorded during the same period last year. The shift reflects a broader recovery in the company’s financial performance under Japanese accounting standards.

JNS Holdings Trims Half-Year Losses as Revenue Climbs

Revenue for the period rose to 5.30 billion yen, up from 4.88 billion yen a year earlier. This topline growth helped the company rein in its operating losses, which fell to 74 million yen from 153 million yen previously. Beyond the operational gains, the firm swung to a pretax profit of 32 million yen, reversing a 180 million yen loss in the prior year. These results translate to a loss per share of 4.61 yen, an improvement over the 17.44 yen loss reported in 2025.
