Smart Tire Market Projected to Reach $54 Billion by 2035

The global smart connected tires market is set to expand from $20.5 billion in 2026 to $54.2 billion by 2035, driven by the shift toward predictive maintenance and vehicle-integrated software. According to a new study by Radial Insights, the industry is transitioning from basic pressure monitoring to complex, data-producing digital ecosystems.

Commercial fleet operators currently lead this adoption, utilizing real-time sensor data to slash roadside downtime and optimize fuel consumption. By integrating tire-condition intelligence directly into vehicle-control systems, manufacturers like Michelin, Pirelli, and Goodyear are moving beyond hardware sales toward recurring digital service models. This transformation allows for more precise safety features and energy management, particularly within the growing electric vehicle sector.

While the Asia-Pacific region holds the largest market share at 32.04%, the sector remains geographically balanced with strong contributions from North America and Europe. However, widespread adoption faces hurdles, including the high cost of integration for mass-market vehicles and the necessity for robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive operational data. As vehicles become increasingly software-defined, the ability of suppliers to provide seamless, interoperable analytics will define their competitive standing in the mobility stack.
