Justin Boots Debuts Mavrik Line Featuring Rig-Lock Stability Tech

Fort Worth-based Justin Boots has unveiled the Mavrik collection, a new line of footwear engineered to address chronic heel slippage. By integrating proprietary Rig-Lock technology into the boot construction, the manufacturer aims to provide a more stable, secure fit for professionals operating in demanding industrial environments.

The core of the Mavrik design centers on the Rig-Lock system, which physically restricts heel movement to prevent the fatigue and instability often associated with heavy-duty work boots. According to Shane Ziegler, senior designer-developer at Justin Boots, the development process prioritized the end user’s need for a consistent, confident stride across varied job sites. Beyond the structural updates, the collection offers both steel-toe and non-safety variants, supplemented by waterproof materials for unpredictable weather conditions.

Since its founding in 1879, Justin Boots has maintained its headquarters in Fort Worth, building a legacy primarily through Western-style footwear. The introduction of the Mavrik series marks a continued shift toward technical workwear, balancing the brand’s traditional craftsmanship with modern ergonomic requirements. The collection is currently available through the company's retail channels, targeting workers who require long-term durability without sacrificing mechanical support.
