Communications Sector Gains as Getty Images and Telia Shift Strategy

Communications Sector Gains as Getty Images and Telia Shift Strategy

Getty Images is moving toward a privatization deal backed by a $533 million equity commitment from Koch Equity Development and the Getty family. This maneuver coincides with a strategic Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing designed to streamline the firm's transition.
