The lawsuit, filed by the firm Robbins LLP, targets AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX) regarding stock activity between April 17 and June 4, 2026. Plaintiffs claim the company represented that its primary shareholder, the Chicago-based private equity firm Madison, would be restricted from selling its shares for 180 days. Instead, AEVEX allegedly coordinated with underwriters to authorize a secondary offering shortly after the IPO.
Following the announcement of this secondary offering on June 1, 2026, the company’s stock price dropped 16%, erasing $700 million in market capitalization. A subsequent 7% decline occurred on June 5, 2026, after the final prospectus was filed. The complaint asserts that Madison secured over $200 million through the secondary sale, while underwriters collected more than $8 million in fees. Investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff in the litigation must contact Robbins LLP before the October 20 cutoff.
