For years, developers have used SerpApi to locate relevant URLs, but extracting the actual content often required building and maintaining fragile, site-specific scrapers. This new capability automates that process, allowing users to move from finding a page to obtaining normalized, machine-readable data without the usual maintenance overhead.
CEO Julien Khaleghy notes that as AI agents and research platforms evolve, the demand for structured information has outpaced simple link discovery. The API functions as a generalized parser, transforming public web pages into data formats ready for immediate integration into knowledge systems or monitoring tools. While dedicated SerpApi engines provide specialized schemas for certain sites, the new release offers a broader, unified approach for general web content. The service is currently available to all SerpApi account holders, with billing tied to the number of successfully processed pages.
