B2Gnow Launches Public Dashboards to Automate Infrastructure Reporting

Public agencies and contractors are shifting toward self-service transparency as B2Gnow introduces its Public Dashboards module. Powered by Microsoft Power BI, the platform allows stakeholders to track infrastructure project metrics and certification statuses in real time without the administrative bottleneck of manual inquiries or mandatory login credentials.

The new tool integrates with existing agency portals to provide instant visibility into construction firm graduation statuses and project goal tracking. By automating these data streams, B2Gnow aims to reduce the volume of incoming phone calls and emails that typically burden agency staff, allowing personnel to prioritize compliance oversight over routine information requests. The system utilizes embedded analytics controls and CAPTCHA protection to ensure that while data access is simplified for the public and vendors, sensitive internal information remains secure.

John Garay, Vice President of Product at B2Gnow, noted that the dashboards grant agencies and general contractors control over their public narrative. Beyond administrative efficiency, the module serves as a bridge for community engagement, offering taxpayers a clear view of how public infrastructure funds are deployed and managed. Vendors benefit by checking their certification standing independently, while contractors can verify subcontractor status to make more informed participation decisions on public works.
