Mark Fetches Named Global CTO at Spinnaker Support

With over 30 years of experience at firms like Accenture and Deloitte, Mark Fetches has been elevated to Global Chief Technology Officer at Spinnaker Support. The move consolidates regional technical leadership, solution consulting, and account management into a single global unit to bridge the gap between sales and long-term client strategy.

Fetches, who previously directed the company’s technology efforts across the EMEA region, will now oversee a unified organization reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Pete Castello. His mandate includes integrating solution consultants—who assess environments ranging from Oracle and SAP to VMware and PostgreSQL—with the technical account managers responsible for ongoing customer success. Key leaders, including Americas CTO Iain Saunderson, will transition into this new reporting structure to ensure consistent technical guidance from initial evaluation through execution.

This appointment arrives as Spinnaker experiences double-digit growth, fueled by enterprises seeking alternatives to traditional software vendor support. The reorganization follows a series of 2026 leadership shifts, including the hiring of CIO Rex Young and the expansion of the company’s PostgreSQL practice. By aligning technical expertise with business advisory roles earlier in the customer lifecycle, the company aims to help clients navigate modernization and digital transformation on their own terms, rather than waiting for forced upgrades or contract renewals.
