OfferWerks Debuts AI-Driven Compliance Suite for Automotive Retail

Dealers and OEMs face a tightening regulatory net over price transparency and advertising claims, prompting the launch of OfferWerks. The newly consolidated technology firm is deploying an Agentic AI platform designed to audit vehicle listings, payment calculations, and conditional rebates before they reach the public eye.

Formed from the merger of firms including LeaseGenius, VinWhiz, and FinServ Group, Austin-based OfferWerks aims to bridge the gap between sales speed and legal adherence. The platform integrates directly into existing workflows to flag potential FTC violations—such as hidden fees or misapplied financing terms—by scanning inventory and advertising data at the ZIP-code level for both U.S. and Canadian markets.

"Dealers shouldn't have to choose between speed and compliance," said Jerry Thompson, President of OfferWerks. The service functions as an automated safeguard, surfacing pricing conflicts and "phantom inventory" issues that often expose retailers to regulatory scrutiny. By embedding compliance checks into the payment engine, the company provides a proactive layer of oversight that complements a dealership's existing legal protocols and FTC Safeguards Rule requirements. According to General Manager John Fachko, the tool is built to handle the constant flux of incentives and inventory updates, ensuring that customer-facing offers remain clear and honest.
