The game pits the United Earth Forces—a coalition of nations relying on conventional military discipline—against the technologically superior Post-Human Coalition and the AI Substrate. According to Adrian Wright, Vice President of Entertainment at Stardock, the development team refined the title’s balance and performance following extensive feedback from recent playtests and Steam Next Fest demos.
Strategy remains the primary driver of the experience, prioritizing long-term logistics over twitch-based reflexes. The game features continent-sized maps where players use a "Strategic Zoom" to toggle between high-level orbital oversight and granular frontline engagements. Combat takes place across diverse environments, including lava-filled chasms and frozen lakes, where terrain damage persists throughout the match.
Stardock has priced the standard edition at $39.99, while a $69.99 premium edition includes the soundtrack and the first three downloadable content packs. Both versions will receive a 20% discount during the launch week, running from November 10 through November 17 on Steam and the developer’s own storefront.
