Redland Company and City Engineering Forge South Florida Alliance

With a combined workforce of 330 employees and a vast fleet of heavy machinery, The Redland Company and City Engineering Contractors have launched a strategic partnership. The move consolidates their regional operations to handle everything from sprawling industrial earthwork to intricate urban utility projects across South Florida.

The alliance effectively bridges a divide in the regional construction sector by providing a single source for both mass excavation and high-density site development. While the firms will integrate their resources, they intend to retain their individual leadership teams and field staff to maintain project continuity for current clients.

Chad Munz, President of The Redland Company, noted that the collaboration allows the entities to tackle complex urban pads and massive earthwork sites simultaneously. Alex Sanchez, President of City Engineering Contractors, added that the partnership enables both companies to pursue larger, more technical projects that were previously out of reach for a single provider. The Redland Company brings a long history of infrastructure expertise dating back to 1957, while CEC contributes a decade of specialized experience in underground utilities and roadwork throughout Miami and Broward counties.
