The license, issued to the Vienna-based entity MEGE zweite GmbH, allows the firm to utilize passporting arrangements to standardize its operations under the European Union’s unified regulatory framework. By aligning with MiCA standards, the company aims to bolster user confidence and integrate its brokerage, custody, and exchange services into the broader regional financial ecosystem.
Daniel Lai, CEO of BingX EU, stated that operating under this framework is essential for meeting the security and transparency expectations of European institutions and retail traders. While the platform prepares for a wider rollout, it will continue coordinating with the Austrian regulator to ensure its service architecture remains compliant with evolving market integrity standards.
