Chanel Iman Fronts Janie and Jack Holiday Campaign

For model Chanel Iman, the holiday season is measured in velvet bows and patent leather shoes. Partnering with Janie and Jack for the brand’s new campaign, "The Memories We Wear," Iman explores the emotional connection between heirloom-quality children’s clothing and the family traditions she is currently building with her three daughters.

The campaign highlights the intersection of style and sentimentality, focusing on outfits designed to be kept long after children outgrow them. Iman describes how she meticulously coordinates looks for Cali, Cassie, and Capri for Christmas Eve and family portraits, viewing the garments as physical markers of her family’s evolution. She recalls a pivotal moment during their first holiday as a blended family, where the children wore Janie and Jack pieces that now serve as a permanent touchstone for that chapter of their lives.

Alison Stiefel, Chief Marketing Officer at Janie and Jack, noted that the collaboration grew from Iman’s existing personal history with the brand. The collection emphasizes timeless silhouettes, featuring items like the $109 Velvet Spotlight Dress, the $89 Velvet Trim Bow Dress, and a $89 Scalloped Wide Leg Jumpsuit. These pieces, available online and in select stores, are constructed with full linings and intricate detailing, intended to transition from formal holiday dinners to casual family gatherings while maintaining a cohesive, non-matching aesthetic.
