Buccaneers and Solaris Healthcare Launch Community Partnership

Nearly 5,000 residents across Solaris Healthcare facilities transformed their nursing homes into tailgate zones on September 18, marking the start of a strategic partnership between the healthcare provider and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The collaboration aims to blend professional football culture with rehabilitative care throughout the region.

The alliance kicked off with team-themed festivities featuring food trucks, cheerleaders, and screenings of the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV victory. Beyond the tailgate events, the partnership centers on aligning the healthcare provider’s rehabilitative goals with the team’s emphasis on resilience and community pride. Buccaneers Chief Commercial Officer Atul Khosla noted that the team selected the partner specifically for its focus on elevating the patient experience.

For Solaris Healthcare, the collaboration serves as a platform to boost morale for individuals recovering in their skilled nursing facilities. Rhonda Dozier, vice president of sales and marketing at Solaris, stated that the organization intends to mirror the team’s persistence in their approach to patient recovery. The healthcare brand plans to host a series of additional events throughout the autumn season to maintain engagement between the franchise and the residents.
