FirstService Residential Hosts Inaugural Minnesota Board Forum

Nearly 300 community leaders and industry partners gathered at the Radisson Blu in Bloomington on September 24 for the inaugural Board of Directors’ Forum & Vendor Showcase. The forum served as a centralized hub for community association leaders to address operational hurdles and explore emerging industry trends. Attendees participated in expert-led educational sessions and engaged with 40 local vendors, facilitating direct access to service providers and specialized products. By creating a collaborative environment, the event allowed participants to share best practices and evaluate solutions for the complex responsibilities inherent in community governance.

Broc Coen, President of FirstService Residential Minnesota, noted that the primary goal was to provide board members with a venue to build relationships and make informed decisions for their residents. Following positive feedback from attendees regarding the practical nature of the sessions, the company confirmed plans to continue these educational initiatives for leaders across the region. The showcase underscored a growing demand for specialized support tailored to the specific needs of residential community volunteers.
