Enliven Therapeutics Adds Kristine Ball to Board Before Phase 3 Trial

Burlingame-based Enliven Therapeutics has appointed industry veteran Kristine Ball to its Board of Directors, a move aimed at bolstering the company's transition from clinical development to commercial operations as it prepares to launch the pivotal Phase 3 ENABLE-2 trial for its leukemia treatment, relcobatinib, before the end of 2026.

Ball brings over two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, specifically in corporate strategy, financial management, and commercial readiness. Her career includes leadership roles at firms like Antiva Biosciences, Soteria Biotherapeutics, and Relypsa, where she oversaw the critical shift from late-stage trials to market entry. CEO Rick Fair noted that her expertise is essential as the company works to deliver relcobatinib to patients living with chronic myeloid leukemia.

For her part, Ball cited a personal connection to the treatment of leukemia as a primary driver for joining the board. She will work alongside leadership to navigate the upcoming regulatory and commercial phases of the company's growth. Enliven, which recently reached an agreement with the FDA regarding the final design of the ENABLE-2 study, remains focused on hitting its year-end initiation target for the pivotal trial.
