CaratLane Targets US Expansion on 18th Anniversary

Marking eighteen years in the fine jewelry sector, the Tata-backed brand CaratLane is pushing deeper into the North American market. The company is pairing a nationwide promotion on diamond collections with a series of exclusive pop-up trunk shows, signaling a shift toward a more aggressive retail footprint in the United States.

The expansion strategy centers on direct customer engagement through curated events in Jersey City and Charlotte. These showcases serve as a testing ground for the brand’s modern, accessible design philosophy, complementing its two existing storefronts in the region. To incentivize early adoption in these new markets, the company is offering a 20% discount on diamond jewelry and gifting a complimentary pendant for purchases exceeding $300.

Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director of CaratLane, identified the US market as a critical component of the firm's long-term international strategy. According to Bhaumik, the move to physical trunk shows follows strong performance data from their current US operations, which revealed a sustained demand for contemporary diamond pieces suitable for daily wear. Moving forward, the company intends to evaluate additional metropolitan locations to solidify its omnichannel presence and broaden its reach among American consumers.
