The platform addresses a fundamental hurdle in automotive retail: while groups operate as single, connected businesses, their internal software frequently fails to recognize customers when they switch between service departments or sales rooftops. By centralizing transactional and interaction data, DriveCentric intends to provide teams with a comprehensive view of the entire customer lifecycle rather than a series of disconnected touchpoints.
Dennis Gingrich, Sales and Finance Director at The Niello Company, noted that customers expect seamless recognition across all locations, regardless of where they first initiated a purchase. The new architecture focuses on identity resolution to reconcile duplicate records, ensuring that AI-driven tools and reporting have access to accurate, clean, and complete context. According to Michael Affronti, Chief Product and Business Officer at DriveCentric, the initiative serves as a foundational layer for future automation, emphasizing that high-quality data is the prerequisite for effective artificial intelligence in dealership operations. The company is currently rolling out the platform through an early access program for select dealer groups.
