The initiative bridges the gap between raw competition data—such as timing and scoring—and fan-facing media distribution. By integrating ViewLift’s direct-to-consumer technology with Bornan’s existing games management infrastructure, FISU intends to provide student-athletes and 167 member National University Sport Federations with a streamlined pipeline for content delivery. Following a successful pilot program in June 2026, the partners are expanding automated workflows and streaming capabilities across various competitions. The platform is slated for a full-scale debut in January 2027, timed to coincide with the Changchun Winter Universiade in China. FISU Secretary General Matthias Remund noted the project is designed to bring university sports production up to the standards observed in professional leagues. ViewLift President Manik Bambha added that the technology serves to connect the next generation of athletes with their global fan base more effectively. Executives from both organizations are expected to detail these developments during a featured panel at next week’s SPORTEL Monaco.
