Starting this November, the partnership allows Flair Vacations to bypass the complex task of building individual hotel integrations. By leveraging the iStay Gateway, the company gains a unified technical connection that manages rate distribution, real-time availability, and booking content. This infrastructure enables the team to concentrate on pricing and packaging strategies rather than technical maintenance.
Travelers departing from major hubs including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton will access combined flight and hotel packages for destinations such as Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Punta Cana. According to Nicole Bursey, President of Flair Vacations, the decision centers on speed to market and the ability to scale product offerings as passenger demand evolves.
IBS Software, which provides AI-native travel technology, views this collaboration as a strategic entry into the competitive Canadian leisure market. Steffan Berelowitz, VP of Hospitality Solutions at IBS, noted that the platform provides the flexibility required for a new business to expand its footprint rapidly. As the vacation division grows, both organizations plan to evaluate further integration of the broader iStay portfolio to support increased passenger volumes.
