According to McKaye Black, Filene's Head of Incubation, the selection process was the most competitive to date, reflecting a clear industry shift toward AI-driven efficiency and improved member support. The chosen cohort includes Crux Analytics for business member retention, Eko with Kiro AI for digital investing, and Falkin for 24/7 scam prevention. Other selected solutions address operational friction, such as KeySavvy for private-party auto lending, Themis for centralized compliance workflows, and Traduality’s Fire Lingo for multilingual communication. Additionally, the Discovery project will leverage behavioral science to develop a system capable of identifying and mitigating financial stress among members. This collaborative approach builds upon the 2026 cycle, which involved over 250 employees from 27 organizations, and seeks to provide the credit union system with actionable data to refine member-facing services.
