The lawsuit, filed by the Rosen Law Firm, targets losses sustained by those who purchased common stock tied to the company's January 2026 initial public offering or acquired shares during the class period between January 29 and May 11, 2026. Plaintiffs allege that York Space Systems failed to disclose that its onboard mission and payload software remained incomplete at the time of satellite deployment.
According to the complaint, these technical failures jeopardized the company’s contracts with the Pentagon’s Space Development Agency. The lawsuit claims that the firm deceived the agency with false advertising to secure business, ultimately causing financial harm to investors when these operational discrepancies surfaced. Shareholders are not required to serve as lead plaintiffs to participate in any future recovery, though they must retain independent counsel or join the existing action to be represented during the proceedings.
