Revenue climbed to 10.27 billion yen from 8.66 billion yen a year earlier, yet the top-line expansion failed to translate into operational stability. Kantsu reported an operating loss of 58 million yen, contrasting with the 72 million yen profit recorded in 2025. Pretax figures mirrored this decline, settling at a 73 million yen loss compared to the previous year's 51 million yen gain.
Earnings per share dropped to a loss of 13.36 yen, a significant departure from the 6.16 yen profit reported in the prior period. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a difficult cycle for the firm as expenses outstripped the gains made in sales volume.
