Ford Recalls Over 100,000 Trucks Over Faulty Speedometer Displays

A glitch in the analog instrument clusters of Ford’s heavy-duty and light-duty trucks has prompted a massive safety recall. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 100,000 vehicles may display erratic or frozen speedometer and tachometer readings, potentially leaving drivers unaware of their actual travel speed.

The recall affects 102,159 vehicles across a broad range of the automaker’s current lineup. Specifically, the issue involves 2025 and 2026 model year F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, and F-750 Super Duty trucks, alongside the 2026 F-150.

To address the failure, Ford dealerships will replace the instrument cluster modules at no cost to owners. The manufacturer has begun the process of notifying affected customers to bring their vehicles in for repair.
