While CoreWeave managed to claw back intraday losses exceeding 6%, the cloud-computing firm’s struggle highlighted the underlying fragility in companies heavily leveraged to finance data center expansion. Contrasting the sector-wide malaise, SpaceX bucked the trend in late trading. The company reported a robust $4.4 billion net income for the third quarter, with revenue figures more than doubling compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, Amazon signaled a massive seasonal expansion, announcing plans to bring on 300,000 U.S. workers for the holiday rush. Operational stability, however, remained a point of friction; a widespread Google Cloud outage across the London region crippled digital banking services, impacting major institutions including HSBC, Lloyds, and Revolut.
