Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, rising to 3.07 billion yen from 2.13 billion yen.

Shareholders saw earnings per share increase to 68.79 yen, while diluted earnings per share reached 68.52 yen, marking a steady rise from the 47.70 yen and 47.60 yen reported respectively in the previous cycle.
