The partnership creates a significant financial pipeline for Tempus AI, which will receive $192.5 million in cash commitments over the next five years. This total includes a $137.5 million direct contribution from Bristol Myers alongside a separate $55 million payment from Pathos AI. The latter transaction covers the acquisition of 500,000 de-identified patient records to fuel research into neurological conditions.
Pathos AI, which recently secured a $237 million Series E funding round led by Bristol Myers at a $3 billion valuation, is also expanding its own integration with both firms. This three-way collaboration focuses on building specialized, curated datasets for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders, granting Bristol Myers broader access to the Pathos Foundry AI platform.
